Come and sing with days have become increasingly popular. Here are details of some one off choral events in Nottingham. They can be a great way to see if you like the choir involved with a view to becoming a regular member. Music is usually provided and sometimes learning tracks to help you practice before the event. There is usually a rehearsal followed by a performance

Walk the golden streets of Venice in our first Festival Chorus concert of the season, focusing on the music of two of Venice’s greatest exports – Monteverdi and Vivaldi. The Vivaldi Gloria is one of his most famous works and a real joy to sing. Experience the splendour of the high baroque era from Europe’s cultural jewel with strings and harpsichords ringing out in celebration.
NFC courses are open to all keen singers.

Vivaldi – Gloria
Concert
The Nottingham Chamber Singers will perform three works by Monteverdi, including Beatus Vir, before the Nottingham Festival Chorus completes the programme singing Vivaldi’s Gloria.
